It is unfortunate that myLot still doesn't have a mobile version of the website.. Though I can browse through the website through Opera mini, I can't participate in or create any posts. I hope this somehow reaches the myLot people!. What do you think.. pls join me in my request to myLot to create a mobile version!

ya it is good to have a mobile version of mylot. mylotting on the move is good idea. It is difucult to post big posts in mobile and also the security cannot be enhanced becoz all the mobiles donot have common serutiy policy and certificate. Payment websites are specially protected, i meant they are cooded very carefuly and certain certificates are given for them. SSL, SHA are different examples. I guess mylot is SSL (Secure Socket Layer). and many mobiles doesn't supprt this. so that makes dificult for mylot.

Yeah, I've also thought of it.. I've dreamt of posting something on myLot while browsing through with my mobile!.. It is ofcourse a great idea.. And about people posting small posts, They won't do much as they know how it affects their earnings and reputation! Ofcourse you can't use it as the main way you surf.. But being such a sort after website they should start a mobile version!.. It would be very helpful to many including many who cannot get in front of a PC every now and then... Its far more essential than we think it is. Lets hope for the best

I can see why a mobile mylot would be a great idea but it makes me wonder if people would actually type long discussions or instead would resort to mini discussions that serve no purpose on mylot.
For mylot, and most users, we can say that in order to really gain from a discussion you post need to be around 5 lines in length, so if you have a small keyboard and are trying to right from your phone are you still going to do those 5 lines or will you half it and do a 1-2 liners which either get deleted or earn you nothing. It would end up being more work for mylot in the end because you know people are extremely lazy nowadays.
So yes great idea - but I don't think the mylot community is ready for it until we can stop 1-2 line discussions etc.

I have posted to a discussion using my ipod touch, so in a way, you can say it is mobile. It seems like ti took me forever to post enough to get credit though, but it was worth it to at least try and see if I could do it, and I did it. I don't have internet on my cell as it would cost me extra, and I have my ipod and the computer so that is all I need. But uoi are right, if there was a mobile mylot, I would use it and I would post more than just a few lines as well. You are probably right though that people wouldn't want to take the time to post a quality response from there cell phone. I don't have one that has a keyboard even if I had the internet. Maybe someday mylot will go mobile too, but if they don't then that is ok with me as well. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
