ame across this paragraph in a health magazine. it encourages users to send text messages instead of calling. i've included the paragraph below because i may not be able to explain it so clearly. it seems the radiation, no matter how low manuafacturers claim it to be, is still high enough to cause damage to our body. thankfully i've never been a chatterbox when it comes to the mobile phone. i much prefer to send text messages compared to calling. winkwink.
Text It Up
Good news: exposure to radiation from your mobile phone diminishes slowly for the first six to eight centimetres from your body, and then it falls dramatically, says Bloomfield.
Sending an SMS is actually a safer way to communicate, says David O. Carpenterr, MD, director of the Institute for Health and the Environment at the University at Albany. When you key in an SMS, you hold your phone away from your body. This exposes you to less radiation than when you have the mobile to your ear.

I agree with David O Carpenter. Texting may be less harmful to the body. But the radiations still may enter our body, but this is much better than holding your cellphone close to your ear. When I was using my Sony Ericsson W810i, the radiations were so high that I could feel pain on my thighs whenever I put the cell phone in my jeans' pockets! On any day I'll prefer texting, because you can think and talk and also gives your fingers some exercise! And texting is cheaper than calls too!
Hope this response gets rated positive! Happy mylotting!

Same here dude.I am using my cellphone to about 5-6 minutes of talking each day.It is scientifically proven that cell phone radiations can cause a part of ur brain to be permanently damaged. Also if u know that there has been recent news on cell phone bacteria causing skin diseases, eye irritation, fever etc.So use to minimal level all that I would say to ya.Have a good day
