which wolf do you feed?

Needed to share this, because it is the best I have every heard it explained:
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside of people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" unside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guild, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute, and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"
The old cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

I think that I would like to feed both the wolves so as to obtain everything in life and be an ideal human being of new generation.

But to feed the evil wolf, would be to feed into anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, and all the other negative actions. Why would you want to carry those feelings inside of you?

Yup I am aware of such a conflict, the constant "war" you are talking about that goes on inside.
If you ask me which one do I feed, well.... I think the evil gets the better of me. I am yet to feed the good wolf to a point to make it so strong that it can win and outun the evil wolf. I just pray that I am able to do it in this lifetime, before it is too late.

I've heard about this too. and I know I supposed to feed the good wolf.
it's very hard to do and I'm still learning.
so if you ask me which one I feed I will say I feed the good wolf more than usual.
the bad wolf I might not feed it, but it will come stealing the food from my hand.

Good answer...the bad wolf does sneak up on us when we aren't even looking for it, doesn't it.
