Who makes the best listeners?

I don't think you can determine a best listener by it being a man or a woman, a friend you have had all your life or someone you have just known a little while. The best listner is someone that takes the time to really listen and hear and understand what you are saying. Not just picking out the things they want to listen to but really listening to the whole conversation and then being able to give you and honest reply to it. flutterby

Well friend its not the man/woman-known or unknown-it is the intelligence of the person (man or woman)-who actually gives his/her ears to everyone and not his/her voice.

Both I think. I think that generally speaking women seem more empathetic than men, but the don't have a monopoly on it. I have known many men that are excellent listeners. Of course husbands are different. We never listen! LOL.

Women to have known as a good listener. I think it is innate in a woman to spare time listening. There are times that you need not talk and you do not need advise. You only want someone to listen to you.

Its not the man or the woman that makes a perfect lishener but human being who has the understanding abilities with loads of patience.. that is what is needed to be a good lishener..

i dont think it is a matter of gender that makes the best listeners i think it has more to do with the persons personality and that persons interests that makes a REAL listener.
