My favorite type of smoothie has 5 ice cubes, half a cup of raspberry flavored yogurt, a full cup of frozen raspberries, a third a cup of lemonade and then you blend them all together. It's very thick so you need a wide straw to drink it up with. It's so good. I love to combine raspberries and lemon. It's perfect! I've heard that strawberry and banana make a great smoothie but i've never tired it before. Do anyone else like my type of smoothie? If not, what is your favorite? Do you put protein powder or something really strange in it? I would love to hear so i could try it out.

wow, you never tried strawberry and banana? I always get a smoothie called, strawberry sensation. It has 4 full strawberry, a full banana, 5-7 ices, some vanilla ice cream, then all blend together! It's really really good. My favorite so far.

hahah. nope! i have never tired it before. i know... from the sounds of it i'm missing out on a lot. maybe i'll make one soon! and your smoothie sounds really easy to make. do you make it with frozen strawberries or fresh ones? I have tons of frozen strawberries and they are really hard to blend up completely. it's probably cause i have an old blender though.

My favorite type of smoothie is the strawberry one because strawberries make my teeth white.

I love smoothies especially from Starbucks. I like banana smoothies and combine banana and strawberry really make a great smoothies. I sometimes make the smoothies myself by adding the banana and the mango. You should try it...

I've seen the ones at starbucks but i've never tried them. I tend to stick with iced coffee of frapacino's when i'm at starbucks. And then i always get the whipped cream on top. So good! But that's a cool combination. Banana and mango? Never heard of that one before. I guess you can really combine anything together as long as you like the taste of it!

Hi there, here is the recipe for my personal favourite smoothie. I use orange juice or mango juice as a base to which I add a few spoons of plain natural youghurt or greek youghurt. Then I add a selection of berries including strawberries, raspberries and blueburries. I also add a bit of ice to the mixture to give it a cold refreshing taste.
Many people use bananas in smoothies but as I am allergic to them I substitute the bananas for the plain yoghurt to give the smoothie a smooth texture.
I love your suggestion of smoothie and love the idea of incorporating lemonade and I idea I would never have thought of on my own. The tartness of the lemon mixed with the sweet taste of the raspberries also sounds like a winning combonation.
If you want to try something new perhaps incorporate mango, or mango juice into a smoothie its really refreshing on a hot summer day. I've also heard that wheatgrass is a really healthy ingredient to add to smoothies.

Those combos sounds delicious. I'll be experimenting and trying out recipes this week, since I got my blender for X-mas.
