recently i saw luck n felt its an ok sort of a movie......shruthi hassan though has cute n hot looks hasn offered much in acting.....fact is also that script doesn provide much scope for acting.....
sanjay n imran hav done a fair job....

OMG, I was planning to watch Luck myself.Is it really that bad?
I was thinking Shruti would have been awesome in it.But may be some of it is coz of who her dad is that I had very high expectations.Good thing I saw your discussion now.I have not seen a good movie in a theater in a really long time.I guess my quest still continues.LOL

Well, I haven't seen NY either.What can I say, too many things in life.Not enough time for this movie buff to catch movies anymore..LOL
Did you watch it? If yes how was it?..oh and please don't talk about Kat.
Im interested in John and.. no Not Neil,.. in fact I want to know how Irrfan Khan was.He is such a fabulous actor.

well...i d'loaded it....so din find the movie useless.....actually trailers n junoon song leave an impression that its quite fun....
but its some wha senti movie....n a sad ending one too....
but touches neone deeply when plight of terror suspects are shown.....watchable over all....

LOL....yeah dude...many papers commented on shruti's decision.....she has a great acting lineage....this wasn;t a perfect start for her....

Is it worth watching? My fiance introduced me to Bollywood and now I love the movies. It would be nice to suggest something for him once (kind of like the first time I made potato curry and paranthas :) ) We're a pretty wild couple. On Saturdays I make a big dinner and we watch movies.....

Slumdog Millionare did not deserve the Oscars there are way better Indian films out there (I really liked Dassvidaniya but I'm biased towards the Russian girl....and the title is transliterated wrong Do Svidaniya :)
My fiance hated the way they portrayed Mumbai and I just didn't like the weay the children who worked on the film were treated.

i dont think so its of that worth...to be honest i was der jus for shruthi hassan....n movie is quite well executed but has some flaws n intellectual atyaachaar....
but lack of other good movies makes t tolerable.....:D
n i missed dasvidaaniya...so dont have any idea about it.....

I'm an American living in Mexico, I have a deluxe cable package and ran into some of the Bollywood productions here. I don't understand a word they say but they are sub titled in Spanish and I have trouble keeping up with it! LOL! I still like the gals and the colors and the whole production! I do watch them!!!!

thanks for ur response sir.....the main deviation bollywood has from hollywood is its stress on emotions...u can find that action constitutes just some 15-2o mins of the entire 2-3 hrs duartion....
so it absolutely keeps u bored if u cant follow the language...
