I watched 'Midnight Movie' last night, a cult horror film about people who realize the killer from the cult movie they are watching is in the theatre with them. Does anyone else get a kick out of campy horror films?

I LOVE campy horror flicks! I haven't gotten around to seeing Midnight Movie yet, as I've heard quite negative reviews about it, even from camp fans, but stuff that is Troma-esque is awesome. Troma is definitely the king of camp, but other films like that are awesome too. Cheesy, low-budget, underground horror films are just fun!

The special effects for midnight movie weren't great and no one will win an oscar but I couldn't argue with the price. Free! Besides it was fun to just eat ice cream and watch a campy, low-budget horror movie.

Special effects are definitely far from important. Have you ever seen a Troma movie? The Toxic Avenger, Terror Firmer, S.G.T. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D, Class of Nuke 'Em High, etc. The special effects are almost garunteed worse than Midnight Movie. Troma takes low-budget to...well...a new low!

I haven't seen that one. Do you recommend? I like Lucio Fulci films because they're ultra realistic. I hide behind my blanket for the entire length of the film. I really enjoy Italian horror films. The bats in Suspiria made me crap my pants. They were SOOOoooo scary!

Not me, no way, no how. I was stalked 2 separate times before I turned 20, so things like that hit too close to home for me...
