Do you think that the maternal bond is stronger than the paternal bond?
You would think that the process of carrying and giving birth to a child would make the maternal bond stronger but for some women that is not that case. In your opinion do you feel that it is stronger and why?
TIA :)

I absolutly think the maternal bond is stronger. Im not saying that the paternal bond isn't strong as well. The mother has that bond almost as soon as she knows she's carrying a child. I do realize that there are some people out there(mothers and fathers) that just don't have that bond at all. It's not their fault, it just happens that way. Unless the man is in the womans life during the entire pregnancy, he just doesn't get it. Men don't understand that being pregnant and having a child TOTALLY changes you. Mentally and physically. They just make jokes and blow things off about how your hormones are off. I do, however, know from experience that a man can have a bond child that is not his own. My husband and daughter have a wonderful bond together, but he has a son that he is not involved with with. His mother's choice. Anyway, I really think it depends on the person, but I do believe the maternal bond is much stronger.
