I have been using Credit Cards for quite sometime now and it came to the point that my earnings is no longer enough to pay off my bills.. I am actually planning to stop paying my bills... but I am afraid to what will happen to me in the future.. Can anybody here give me some advice? I rather use my money for my family.. I am really confused..

Pay off whatever credit cards you have now and then get rid of them. If you find that you absolutely need a credit card for things like shopping online then try a prepaid credit card. That way you can only spend what money you have on the card and nothing more :)

dear friend, it is nothing to be confused of. when you dont have dont spend, thats it. when you have spend. and to pay credit card bills you will be finally needing money. so pay off th bills and stop spending. when you wont spend then you will obviously save. no big deal and nothing to be confused of. first is the priority of the family and its needs next is anything else. so think it first.

well, dont spend more than you can make, its as simple as that. you will need to plan out how much money you will be using to pay off the debt. that why you will knwo how much extra money you can use. i dont tihnk not paying your bills is the solution. you will just find yourself longer in the red. manage your money so that you dont buy things you dont truely need.

Not to sound rude, but get rid of your credit card today! Start living on what you make, and start paying off your debt. Credit card problems just get worse if you don't take the bull by the horns and get serious about money. I say this bluntly because I've been there. I no longer own a credit card, and life is so much better this way.

I'd say, if you're able to borrow the money, do that, then just pay that money back. However, if that's not possible, you can always try the debt settlement programs. Of course, the main downside is this program doesn't fully go into effect until you're months behind on your bills.

Well , I know this discussion is too old and you probabely are no longer uses this website , but , maybe my respond will resurect it and even help you get back again and use mylot.
If you have credit card , you can see what you pay for and review it in the future.
The problem is that credit card also takes many fees like card fee , commissions , if you are late with paying , you also need to pay more...
If you wanted to buy something with the credit card , there may be a chance that you can also buy it with cash and it is not too far away from your house. Plus , you can start documenting your own expenses on your computer or using a diary so you can make it more efficient in the future.
Credit cards sometimes offer good deals but there are things that are maybe cheaper than those deals and the low prices were probabely paid somehow with the over expenses that you paid for other things so they made some statistics about it and they still get profit. Many gifts are not for free.

Thats actually happened to me where im maxed out my CC for not so important stuff where i keep paying for it monthly and didnt notice the bill going down. So what i did, i seeked help from my parents and loaned money to pay all the credit card then i cancelled it. I paid the loan. So right now, i dont get blacklisted for not paying credit card, at the same time, its a load off from paying the bill and its interest, instead i was able to save up and buy the things when i have enough savings for whatever i wanted to get.
