What do you do on planes?

I usually buy a magazine (those that I wouldn´t spend money on then in any other ocation)and read a bit. I sleep or doze if it´s a long night flifght. Besides, stewardess keed passengers busy giving and taking away food, expensive duty free catalogue items, and so on. I spend at least half an hour discovering that the movie is bad and the earphones are worse. With all that, we are near our destiny

I cannot sleep on planes. Even on a 23-hour flight once, I could only nap for maybe 20 minutes. Just something about planes where I can't sleep - maybe if I ever fly first-class I can sleep then. Otherwise, I will listen to music, read, watch the in-flight movie, or talk with my family/brothers. I have only flown when we take family vacations, so it is nice having someone to talk to that way.

Well I have only been on a plane once, and that was flight was only 2 hours so I didn't sleep. I just talked to me siblings, and go to the bathroom every five minutes(I had a lot of water). I brought a notebook but I didn't get around to drawing or writing in it because the flight was so short. I basically just looked at the clouds the whole time.

I find it difficult to read on plane. Like you, I usually sleep on short flights and watch movies on long flights. Sometimes I would read magazines edited by flight companies since they are in the pocket in front of me. Every now and then I will get up and move around or go to the toilet. I am movie lover, so if there is personal entertainment system on the plane, I tend to watch all the movies available on that flight. I always ask for some snacks or biscuits and drinks from flight attendants to keep my movie-watching time relaxing. :P

aside for taking a nap.. i always take advantage of flight time in reading and if possible finishing my favorite books.. or if something i like to do in my spare time like watching movie which i look forward to do but can't during my regular days.. with that i really enjoy even a long flight.

I always try to sleep but I can never go to sleep in the airplane because of the huge sound of engine. So I soemtimes watch movies and play games.

i try to watch the movie that they show, but i dont when they charge you for the headphones. i try to catch up on any reading that i want to do. i play on my psp if im bored. its really anything. i find flying to be one of the most boring things to do. it goes by really really slow for me

same here, if it's a long flight, i'd usually go to sleep and watch the in-flight movies. sometimes i play the games too.

If I have a window seat, I take pictures out the window! I always bring my camera on flights and I like to snap photos of the earth below, or of the clouds. I often get some very beautiful photos! When I'm not taking pictures, I usually listen to my iPod or play my DS or PSP.

Hello. I always take some newspapers or magzines with me ,then I can read during the jounry. Or take some snacks to eat,while listening to the music,even I have a window seat,I don;t like to see below,because I'm kind of fear height~~

I usually read or take a nap. As we get close to our destination I have my face pressed against the window looking at where we are. I always get a window seat!

I take a books to read and I never end up reading them. I usually just sleep or talk to my fiancee when we fly together. I also listen to a lot of music on flights.

If im on an international flight there are usually individual entertainment screens on which you can play games (sudoku, who wants to be a millionaire, tertris) ect.., learn a language, build a playlist of music and choose between hundreds of movies from recent releases to classics and television shows. Sadly I find it difficult to fall aspleep on a plane so I tend to watch a few movies untill I get sleepy enough that I was aspleep. I too take books on my carry on luggage which I sometimes read.
