Would you randomly accept someone to be your friend?

I do that all the time. I don't reveal important stuff on Facebook, so I don't mind strangers seeing what I post.

I do not accept a friend request unless I know the person from high school or college. I dont want someone I do not know having the ability to see things about my life like email and all of that jazz. I mean my life is private for a reason.

I don't like accepting people that I don't know on Face Book. I think it is silly and a waste of time. I do not accept friend requests from strangers and I certainly do not even accept requests if I know the person but do not like them. What is the point!

For me to accept them as a friend on Facebook I either have to personally know them or know them by affiliation with my friends. I dont just add and confirm random people on that site.

Since so much personal information is avaliable on my facebook page I do not accept friend invites from people I do not know. Actually when messaging most of my friends on facebook I tend to send them private messages instead of posting on their wall. As some information should be kept confidential. E.g the time of location that we are meeting. The internet can be potentially a dangerous place, and one should always take precautions to protect their indentity. I do not like the new facebook feed that shows everyone your converstaion with others.

I never accept a total stranger as a friend on Facebook. This allows them to see too much personal information, which is not only creepy, but can possibly be very dangerous, inviting stalkers. I would suggest that noone that has a facebook account, or any other website that shows personal information accept strangers as friends.

Not on my facebook no. I only accept people who I know on there as I share quite a lot of personal stuff and pictures- things I would not want strangers knowing. Also you have to be careful nowadays due to Identity fraud and the like.

I only accept people that I know because I have pictures from family events and I talk about personal things and I have my privacy settings so that only friends can view my stuff.

I would never accepted strangers on my facebook account.
