Simon and the trampoline must have been one of the funniest things I've ever seen. All in all the UK version is more of a comedy show than the US version. What have been your funniest moments?

I absolutely love the Apprentice and watched every season so far of the UK show. Not really that keen on the US one for the reason you mention.
The funniest moment for me comes from this years series where Ben is waffling on in the back of car and goes on about getting his scholarship to Sandhurst, but then admits to his team mates mirth that he didn’t actually go.
I think this series has been the funniest so far, but lacked that bit of entrepreneurial talent which candidates in previous series have shown.

Well the current situation with the next series of the Apprentice is as follows.
The Labour government have made Sir Alan a Lord and also a business Tsar. This caused complaints that he should no longer be doing the Apprentice as the BBC is supposed to be unbiased and so having a Labour Lord front a program could have been seen as favouring one political party, especially as next year there will be an Election in the UK. But at the moment all is well, the BBC have said that Sir Alan can continue to do The Apprentice but they may have to reschedule next years series so it comes after an election.
On top of this there will also be a series of The Apprentice which features wannabe teenage entrepreneurs between the ages of 16 - 18. Not sure when this will be shown but may interest you.

Politics influencing a comedy show, that is insane. If Sir Alan had any sense he should just give the stupid title back, labour shouldn't be giving them out in the first place anyway and I can't believe they haven't got around to abolishing that whole system (except they haven't the guts and would prefer to have handouts and favours owed).
Back to the Apprentice, do let me know when they start airing another one, I would think a teenage version would actually be quite good. And if they ever want candidates for a child's version tell me at once and I'll send mine over, he's got more sense already than a lot of them on there

Hi friend, Glad to hear you watch this too, good taste of what. I do love the Donald Trump one too but difficult to always find it on youtube, but the candidates are much more serous and the English ones are so inept it makes for much more hilarious viewing. This series I found them all a bit unmemorable, but agree about Ben, he just never stopped going on about the Sandhurst thing, he was even trying to impress Sir Alan about it. Hope they don't drop the programme, it's addictive.

I only started watching the Apprentice in 2008, so I've only seen two sets of candidates battle it out. I thought this years lot were extremely entertaining. I couldn't stop laughing at Philip's idea about using 'pants man' to sell cereal! Loved the fact that quiet Noorul ended up having to wear the pants man suit though. James was also hillarious.

Hi Tiamjr, if they are repeated you have to watch the earlier ones. I think the funniest bit of this series was the girls arguing at the car wash about the garage having the wrong prices, they are all so cocky at the beginning thinking they know best. My 10 year old is hooked along with me but we don't get it here but some kind soul always puts it on Youtube so we get to watch it.

Yes, I going to look out for the re-runs of the older series because I think they are just so hilarious. My younger brother actually wants to go on the apprentice. He is always making fun of the contestants and boasts how he could do so much better. The trouble is I think he would just end up acting in the same cocky manner.

You have to tell me if he makes it on, I think they have to have a cocky attitude to get on the show, one of the earlier ones had an Irish girl who introduced herself as must be one of the top ten sales people in Europe. In Europe mind. Needless to say she didn't manage to sell anything in the Apprentice!
