I don't know if I'm wrong, but I guess all of us, at one point in our lives or another, have taken something that doesn't belong to us...
maybe a few buck from our dad's pocket while he was sleeping, when you were a kid....
or a few pieces of candy from the candyshop......
or your mom's ATM..........
Have you???

Yes, I was an outright thief when I was a kid - awful to say, but there you go. It actuallty run in the family, I and my three bothers sometimes actually schemed on how to pull off a robery.
Let me make clear that I'm NOT proud of it, and I did mend my ways as an adult. But have you ever been involved in marketing, or are you running an online-business? The line between presenting the truth in a favorite light (it's still the truth, mind you) and outright fraud is extremely thin.
Heck, I remember in the nineties, I had set up and ran a language institute in Mexico-City. Times were tough, sales were down - so I re-packaged the service we were providing and doubled the prices. Was that theft? I don't know, but if you're in business, it´s a question you continuously ask yourself.

Hi pillusch... wow thanks for the honesty... we all have done things in our lives we are not very proud of...
I have a long list of that.
even now,..i find myself cheating on petty things...
we cant help being tempted when there is money to gain..and we need it bad.

No, it was not like this, she did not give it (her heart) to me easily, I made my best efforts to steel it.

Of course I have stolen a few bucks from my mothers wallet when I was young.I also stolen one of my classmate's pink pencil case when I was in grade school. I remember I return it to her saying "hey I found your lost pencil case" and she said "oh thank you, you are very nice" and I answer " of course I am , don't bother, keep it and take care of it from today". I laughed whenever I remember it, until today. I haven't tried to stole things since then, because I know my guardian angel will get sick, that is what I get from bible study way before. And its bad.

I can't stole money at my age now because i can earn it! if can be possible if I were young, I will not bring back the money but i will go straight to the store near our house to spend it immediately.

i know, it makes us feel terrible for all the petty things we did...we try not to do it again...but what if we find a box of money and is so easy for us to keep it (nobody's watching)-would you give it back if someone comes back looking for it? if you don't give it back you still stole it coz it doesn't belong to you...... but if you look at the money, it's just so temptiiiing...u can buy so much stuff with it....what u gonna do?

Honestly, I have taken a few and even too much from my mom, dad, sisters and brothers. Way back, I did that so that I could play at the arcade, buy toys and so on with what interested me. Of course, a lot of them complained and I didn't admit what I did before. Later on, I stopped. I eventually realized how hard it is to earn your own money and it isn't nice to lose something you worked hard for. (-_-")

I'm not sure about being being a grown man. I still need to do a lot of things I guess.. (^_^")
You never know if I'd ever do what I mentioned in your other discussion where you were asking of what we'd do if money just suddenly poured down from the sky.. a man should keep his word, or something liket that

When i was a kid I wasnt an ideal model of what you should act like. many of an occasion i sneak out of the house with a 10 dollar bill i took from my fathers wallet. When i got a bit older (about 13 or so) I started hanging out with some bad people. They coerced me into stealing them small things like lighters and stuff. I felt horrible and soon after I just broke connections with them.

When I was younger, I took ten dollars from my uncle's wallet, just to see if he'll notice it or not. He never caught me but I never did it again.

i dont think i have. i dont think i have ever wanted to or needed to. i believe that God gives everyone what he wants them to have. if God wanted me to have something i yearn, i would have had it by now. everything happens for a reason. i am happy with everything i have and always had. i have always kept my trust in God to guide me where he wants me to go or have. He knows best.

Its hard to be honest all the time.. Same is here too. As a kid,I had stolen some bucks from my moms purse for ice creme.
Apart from it,I do help my friends in a exam hall..And honestly speaking, sometimes I take help from other people too. We do exchange the question papers and visit the toilet together with my friends for seeking answers. We really had a lots of fun doing this.. This is also a kind of theft.

I used to "clean out" my mom's purse when I was a little kid. She knew I was keeping all the loose change but you should have seen how much was in there! She always said it made her purse much lighter!

I don't think I have ever stolen anything. My parents taught me that was wrong. If I needed or wanted something, I would tell my parents. They did their best to get me and my brother what we needed and wanted. I've always been able to get what I needed without having to steal to get it.

My morals guide me against stealing. The closest I have come to stealing was when I was 5. You see my teacher had special stamps that she stamped on our work if we did well. I really loved the mickey mouse stamp. Anyhow one night I schemed on how I could take the stamp. The next day at school when the teacher was occupied I walked past her desk and took it. Once I got home I was overidden with guilt. I was so appalled with myself. I told my mother what I had done and how I planned to put it back. The next I did and when I returned home my mother had brought me a love heart shape mickey mouse stamp that said ''I love you'' and she explained how proud of me she was. Never stolen anything else.

my dad has more money than my mom...so i used to sneak into his room and take a few bucks from his pants where he usually hang them...he never noticed I guess. I was so addicted to going to the store 5,6 times a day just to buy candies, candies, candies (I almost lost all my teeth when I was little)...... I guess that's why I was tempted to steal form my mom one time...she doesn't have much so she noticed of course. I tried to lie at first. But i was so guilty I gave it back to her and cried. I was so ashamed for what I did.

Yes I did. I can remember when I was a child I hid the money that my cousin was preparing for a prayer meeting.
Furthermore, in general, we all do steal, may it be intentionally or unintentional at all. Because stealing comes in many ways, not just in material things but also intellectual properties and many others.

No. No plans to. My parents are very strict on this and will beat the living daylights out of me before they will permit me to steal. Stealing, in any other language is still stealing.

I remember when i was a kid about 6-7 years of age, i stole sticky rice and sugar from my mom's kitchen because my other playmates ordered me to bring them for our play. We are having a real cooking session then with the use of improvised cooking materials like 3 pieces of rocks as our stove and one big can of milk as our pot. Chocolate porridge was the menu and my mom didn't realize that ive done this things to her up to now.
That's what i remembered, i can stole little things from my family but not with other people, and i do this all when i was still young. I tend to ask from them when i became adult because i just knew that stealing anything was bad.
