What Travelingman said. :) Yes, definitely the greatest band of all time, in terms of both their innovation and their influence. However, to be fair, in measuring such things we must tip out hats to the great George Martin as well as to John, Paul, George and Ringo for these innovations, because Martin was responsible for a great deal of the innovation that happened in the studio, such as the backwards tape loops that were used so brilliantly on the Sgt. Pepper album. No musician today would be the same had the stars not aligned and had those five great men not found each other and produced such extraordinary art.

Mot definitely! I think they are amazing! When you ask musicians who inspires them, more often than not they will say The Beatles. You only have to look at how popular to realise that they are the greatest! There are plenty of people who wouldn't say they are Beatles fans but on listening to their songs say "oh I like that one" I think there is a little bit of the Beatles in everyone!

As far as rock bands the Beatles are the greatest.

Surely Beatles are the greatest rock band of all time! The were inspiration of all young people! New wave of music, new wave of style . . . If there is no Beatles in the music history, many genres should not exist. Even metal music will not be the same without the Beatles era in the history!

While it is a matter of opinion, I would say yes, they in fact are my favorite band of all time, and there will most likely never be anyone as great as them.

Of the century, Yes! I love them to pieces. I grew up listening to them as my father was a huge fan. I've loved them ever since. My favourite song of theirs has got to be Hey Jude.

The Beatles were one of the greatest bands of all time. They led the British Invasion and ushered in a whole new wave of music. Their influence can be seen by the bands and groups that followed them. For people like myself, who grew up watching the Beatles back in the 60's, their music is still as enjoyable today as it was back then.
