I am thinking about home schooling my 11 year old daughter as she has been kicked out of school & unfortunatly no other school will except her! so we are thinking that we may have no other choice but to home school her for the time being. WHi has done this? And how was it?

Like all other decisions parents make, the decision to homeschool kids should be based on what is best for the kids. In your daughter's situation, it might even be the only alternative left.
Before you start though, educate yourself on the requirements in your state. Be sure that what you are doing is legal. Then, spend the rest of the summer preparing to become your daughter's teacher. You can't just wake up in September and start.
I hope homeschooling works out for you, either as a bridge to help her with whatever got her kicked out of school, or as a great alternative to public school.

Yeah I have looked into it, but Ive been told its very hard work. Im not sure if I have the brains for it to be honest..lol But at the moment we may not have a choice in the matter. I think we will give it a go, at least if we fail we gave it a good try.
Thank you for your advise & kind words. :o)

In New Zealand Home Schooling is done by the parent not a teacher. The parent must stay home & teach the child. You get work sent home which must be completed with in a set time & then sent back to be marked & repeated again etc...
Thanks for your advise
