I sleep around 8 hours per day and sometimes less than that too as I can get up in the night to read something or do something like listening to music or watching a movie on the laptop. In weekends I sleep more however I wake up at the same time as I use to wake up during week days I think it is just because I am used to wake upat a specific time everyday.

I usually sleep for 7-8 hours everyday. I normally sleep at 10pm and wake up at 6am to pray. We should have enough sleep to have a healthy life besides exercise, eat healthy diets and plenty of water.8 hours sleep is not a waste of time...

I only sleep 8 hours after night out with my bro and had a lot of drink other than that the maximum hours of sleep I have is 4 hours a day .. I really do wish I could have more but with so many thing to do and need to be done I guess 4 hours would even be longer for me lol .

Eight hours is perfect. I find if I sleep more than 8, its almost as bad as if I was sleep deprived. I can function for a day or two on less, but then I must catch up! I read somewhere that you cannot store sleep, so there is no point in sleeping 12 hours - that is just time wasted!! One more thing - If you don't manage to get your 8 hours, there is nothing better than a 20 minute "power nap" in the afternoon to recharge your batteries, but it must be undisturbed, and not more than 20 minutes otherwise you will wake up groggy and unmotivated.

I usually get 6-7 hours on weekdays, around 8 (give or take) on the weekends. I guess I get a little lazy in sticking to a specific bed time so I can have a consistent sleeping pattern, so I have to catch up on some sleep on the weekends. I know its bad and I need more regular sleep though.

I want to sleep less and yet still feel energetic, but it kind hard. I easily feel sleepy and even coffee cannot make me stay awake. 8 hours of sleep is for me is good, not a waste of time, but once i heard its not about how long you sleep, but the quality of the sleep is much more important. I sleep a lot, 7 to 8 hours at night and 1 to 2 hours at noon. Bad habit, but difficult to get rid of.

Dear klwheretogo,
Is it (KL-Where-To-Go)?.. Wonderful user name
I think 8 hours sleep is perfect. Last time
I used to sleep from 11:30pm till 8.00am
But since I started blogging (link with nuffnang)
and my recent passion for myLot, I tend to sleep
at 02.00 am till 9.00am...looks like not enough 8
hours...I must reschedule my sleeping time again!
For our body to have proper rest and self-healing,
it is good if we can have uninterrupted 8 hours of
sleep!
All the best and do drop my my profile to share your views
on some of the discussion I have started! Thanks & do keep in touch!
