I think your r from India. So if you r interested in wireless , then go for BSNL EVDO. which provides you 2.4 Mbps(Mega bits per sec) speed @ 650/Month. I am now using this service, which also allows roaming in selected states. If you want a wired connection, then also BSNL is the best. Also it depends on your preference, that is download or browsing. So check it out in your place.

Hello, the answer to your question depends on your need that whether you want to surf only with less downloading or you want very high speed downloading. I am using BSNL broadband internet connection and I am quite satisfied with the way its working for me. It has good speed and is certainly cost effective. I need the connection mainly for surfing and BSNL is very good for that.
Also, I had searched many of the plans given by different companies when I had to deploy am internet connection at my home 4 months ago and came to the conclusion that BSNL gives you the best speed with same cost(if cost is a parameter for you).

I am using the broad band of BSNL..Most of the time, the net speed is too slow and some time, not at all working. But as the rental is low compared to the others and also I don't have other service providers in my area I am using this one. As the number of subscribers are using more and more, the speed seems to decrease nowadays. I heard from my friends that Airtel is offering now good connectivity with higher speed. Of course, the rental is also high when compared to the BSNL..You may try for that if they provide service in your local.
