employee are worring there jobs

the company i am working right now is currently retrenching people. we don't know exactly who will be the next person to be kicked out. we are worried for the fact that finding a new job now a days is not that good especially if we aged. but what else can we do is to accept it. if we have money to fight for our right as an employee then fight for it. but we work to earn so just accept the offer what the company can offer.

Sorry, i have nothing advice about your topic for you. In my opinion, you do your work is difference to anyone in your company, let your boss can't let you go, even though you were laid of, you can find a new joy easy. I heard my company would like to cut employee in the future of months , maybe is fake news. I don't think I will be laid of, because in this situation it is difficult to find someone instead of me. good lucky!

I really don't much help with this subject. I currently am not working. My husband was the bread winner in our household. He works for a Local union hall as an equipment operator. At the beginning of this year he got laid off and still is. He checks with them weekly by phone and visits them once a week. His BA keeps telling him there is no work. His unemployment is not enought is only enough to cover our bills. I am working on line to trying to keep us afloat. This country is in awful mess,but they say it is getting better,well I hope it hurries up in KY.
