Can you point out to the most memorable day of you life till now, the day when you even remember now, makes you truly happy?
I remember that special day in my life. i was accompanying my father to a meeting. The interview was scheduled at "The Hilton" that time known as "the Oberoi". I was thrilled to see the entire Hotel and magnificent ambiance, the lush interiors and I were treated as a VIP courtesy my father. I was around 12 that time.
Then we had a break or something like that and we went to Marine drive; a promenade, where we two were just chatting trying to have a father and son conversation, when we were interfered by a TV reporter and a cameraman. They interviewed us asking for our opinion on a cricket match to be held in Mumbai. I was on national TV. The entire day was just like a dream, with each event turning even more beautiful than the previous one.
I really felt like "Somebody" at the end of the day.
Can you remember the most beautiful day of your life? A day which is etched deep in your memories making you happy everytime you think about it.

That would be such an amazing time to remember. I would say my happiest moment that i could still remember would be when i was in 7th grade and i was in cheerleading. We made it to the nationals and had to raise our share of money to go to Tennessee, we had car washes, garage sells, and money buckets. We gladly raised the cash and went. The hotel was so much fun to be at. All my friends, making new ones on different teams, and knowing the important day was soon coming. We had tours of the beautiful place we were at, we held practices, worked harder than ever, were so nervous, and basically held hands through it all. We performed and gave it our all. Though we lost, we were so grateful to be there anyway. We were bummed out, but our parents said they were getting told that the other team took our trophy. I will never know if this is true or not, but it did get our moods better. We enjoyed our final day there and went home. Those mixed feelings i got through that whole thing will stay with me forever. I have put my life to dancing even though i am not cheering anymore. I have a dancers heart.(:

How sweet is the memory you shared! Childhood memories are really something to treasure. Sorry to know that the tropy didn't come home. You parents weren't lying.
just wanted to let ya know that I am not at all in dancing. If they say that you have two left feet, then probably the saying would change to"that you don't have any feet at all to dance".
Thanks for sharing and really I am so pleased to know about the beautiful tour you guys had.

Hi friend,
Its not having to face failure or somethign like that, dancing makes me really very nervous. I may say it makes my knees week. I feel so very uncomfortable.
I remember this day when my best friend was getting married, and the guests called as the "baratis" have to dance when the groom is going to the wedding venue. I was so terribly uncomfortable. I admit this is one particular thing which I am the worst.

You do not have to have perfect feet to dance, make up your own style and go with it. Ha ha. I can dance so weird in my room i would not want anyone to see. I bring out the oldies moves. It is so much fun! You just need to smile and laugh even if it is at yourself once in awhile. Do not be sorry we were not the best, as long as we made an effort. We had a lot more fun losing than i thought was even possible. Very good idea to blog about as well.(:

The memorable day in my life was when I got the first job. I was two years left alone without any job. I thought everything was going wrong in my life. Suddenly one day I got my interview call and I gone for my interview and amoung 60 I were selected as the top 3 and offered the job. My eyes can't beleive it. "Cause it is a well known concern and a great offer too. A sudden surprise stuck and I went into cloud nine. That was the memorable day in my life.

this post reminds me of one particular day I was very young. It was after school hours, rain had stopped. I was waiting to be picked up and I sat outside. I looked up, the sky was clear it's so beautiful. I smiled. The other kids were looking at me lol wonder why I smiled. See I don't smile often, I don't know why I smiled at the time. I just felt like it and there was this wonderful feeling when I looked at the clear sky that day.
So Oberoi is now the Hilton? I heard about that hotel chain, pretty impressive design - and price, of course.

If I would have been your classmate i would be surprised too... as for what actually were the reson that made you to look up to the sky and feel happy? Were you remembering some incident or it was just that nature's beauty that you were admiring? Please do share.

Since I have many happy memories, but the one day I remember the most, is when I was a young child, at the age of 11 or 12, when I so much wanted an Organ for Christmas. My girlfriend's family had one, and I always played it when I was at her home. When I would always return from her house, I would get so excited and tell my parents that I wanted an organ really bad. This went on for months.
Then on Christmas Eve that year, I went to bed as usual, knowing that when I got up there would be presents under the tree...My sister and I usually were awake very early from the anticipation. But that night, I was awaken by my mother around 2:00 in the morning, and she whispered to me gently to wake up. And after forcing my eyes open, she whispered again, "Listen! What do you hear?" And in the background, I could hear my dad playing the organ they had bought for me. I jumped out of bad with such excitement, crying like a baby.
I will always remember that Christmas Eve!

Wow it truly is a sweet memory. I remember to cry for my first cycle, like that. I had to shed a good amount of tears after which my parents decided to give me a cycle I was around 5 or 6 maybe. But I don't really remember the day in exact details. Thanks for sharing.

It surely wasn't the most memorable day it ought to be the proudest day for you. Being a celebrity or to be with them can't stand for comparison of bringing a life on earth.
Thanks a lot for sharing friend.

Hi,
One of the most memorable day in my life is when I purchased my first car. Thanks to a true friend, Norma Jean, whom I worked with at a hopital. Because I didn't know how to drive, she offer to give me a ride home, but half way there she pulled off on the side of the road. I asked her, "what are you doing?" She replied,"you're going to learn how to drive." She insted that I takeover. Scared silly, I did as I was told. Thank God, there wasn't much traffic and her instructions were great. I never had another driving lesson, but I was set free (I
didn't have to depend on others for rides to work). I purchased my own little car a few week later and have been driving for a very long time.
