I am going to Italy next year for my honeymoon and was wondering what the best parts were to visit, what would you recommend. We'd prefer a little off the tourist track if possible.

Hi, I'm italian. Most people visit, in order: Rome Florence Venice They're of course beautiful cities, ut of course thy're not "off track" :-) If you want to do something different, I suggest milan & Como lake, tuscany & umbria (there are many beautiful towns there), or dolomiti mountains you you like that kind of environment Let me know what you think!

If you're going in summer, I suggest the south: Salento or Sicily are the best places to see. Salento is also off the international tourist track. So beautiful!

I would suggest the islands off Sicily might be a great option. There is tourism around the coast by Naples but it is incredibly beautiful. I know Sorrento and Almalfi are lovely places. There are islands like Capri that might be superb to visit. I had my honeymoon in romantic Venice. I hope you will have a wonderful honeymoon. Good luck.
