What is the bravest thing you've done for a friend? DO you think it was worth doing it for the person? Why or why not? =)

What an interesting question!
To some people being brave means facing a physical danger. To others it means facing a social dilemma (like public speaking or standing up for a friend).
The bravest thing I have ever done, was simple and involved an animal. I once saw a dog, wandering around by himself on the freeway. After stopping my car, I went out on the freeway to grab him (and for all I knew he could have been rabid) and put him in my car. I could have been hit by a truck or something, but I did it anyway for the poor little guy.
I still have that dog, 'George' because I was never able to find his owner. Maybe he jumped out of a car window? Maybe he escaped from a animal-theif? I will never know, but George is a lovely mutt (a mix of collie and terrier I think) and he is a good friend.

Wow! THis is a very nice and unforgettable experience huh. Your prize for being kind to the poor animal is you got yourself a new pet! Keep up the good act!

Hmmm...I do a lot of things for my friends. If people are important to you, doing things for them comes naturally, right? Even if it means putting yourself in danger sometimes.
But here is what I consider the bravest thing I did for a close friend of mine.
It was years back. I was still in College at that time when my friend's drunk boyfriend got into a brawl in a party in our school. Well, to make the long story short, the police came and arrested the boyfriend and I had to accompany my distraught friend to the lock-up cell where her boyfriend was. That was a very scary night for me and all I wanted to do was go home where I was safe but I couldn't leave my friend behind.
When we talk about it now, we just laugh about it. I don't regret being in that situation and sticking with my friend because anything you do for a friend is wort it. :)
