I would like to dedicate this topic to my secondary school
classmate - Sally Tan.
I was a new girl in Secondary 3 at Convent of Infant Jesus, Malacca!
I was a very systematic and hard working student. I always finish my
homework and passed up on time. Sort of perfectionist!
So, one morning, I realised I forgot to bring my exercise book which
need to be passed up! I was frantically panic, I was so worried that
my teacher will scold me. This has never happen to me...Can't tell you
the feeling at that point of time! (Nowadays, when I think back..I laugh
about it, it's just a small matter!)
But, Sally came and tell me, "Do not worry, it is all right, everything
will be over!" Immediately I found calmness... it is like MAGIC!
Now I know why people need moral support?? Since then, whenever I worry,
this sentence will calm me down! Therefore I would like to thank Sally
for this sentence which has guide me thru life since then!
Thank you, Sally!
So do share your gratitude here for all of us to appreciate! Thanks!

Indeed the words such as "Allright", "It's ok", "It will be over" are calming words. They seek to sooth our disturbed mind and emotions. Recently, I learnt another phrase "Very nice"... It's good reminder to us every time to say 'Very Nice' when we are unhappy.

Dear whyaskq,
You cheered me up , the first thing in the morning as
I enter myLot, I saw your response appeared on my discussion topic!
What a wonderful surprise! Thanks a lot, you make my day! I wish
you will have a wonderful and happy day too coz today is Friday,
we will have a long weekend to do myLotting!
All this calm & soothing words "All Right", "It's okay" works like
'magic' when we are in troubled waters! It is like we are
in an aromatherapy spa somewhere cozy with soothing music playing
at the background softly when our mind & body are tired & stressful!
What a relief......
Yes, when we are unhappy, we should do something something to cheer
us up, it is within our mind to improve the situation... says
positive and nice words like you mentioned 'Very Nice' is
really a boost to turn around the 'unhappy' into happy again!
Thanks for sharing, really appreciate it and once again..Thank You
for making me happy.., Have A Nice Weekend and Do Keeep in Touch!

I would like to start out with. You shouldn't post their full name unless you get consist with them. I don't know if you did or did not. I just don't like it when you publicly put peoples full name online especially when you give more details like what school they went and where they may be from. The internet has lots of identity theft people out there that can captialize on these situations.
But I will be thankful if nothing happens to sally now.
I am thankful that you are able to find such a great friend and was able to grow day by day with each other. I learn that when you grow up you can barely count with one hand your really really good friends. And if you can count with two hands you may not realize how to appreicate a very good friendship. Because if you keep too many friends how do you truely manage a very close relationship and also a close circle.
Now i'm not saying it can't happened but it is very difficult to find true really true good friends.
god bless you!

Dear doggyhouz,
Thanks for your concern. I appreciate it very much!
Do not worry about Sally, Malaysian during my generation
not many having Christian name..it is actually a friendly
name used to call her for easy calling...(known only to
family and close friends) Chinese normally will have 3
Chinese 'worded' names for their official or school purpose!
I deliberately wrote as Sally so that those who knows us
closely, who still in contact with her, will be able to let
her know that I am looking for her since I can't locate her
via facebook!
Yes, totally agree with you to avoid unnecessary problems,
we should not publish the full name..thanks.
True friend are rarely found, so appreciate the friendship.
Thanks for sharing and happy myLotting!

Hey Iriene. I was from Malacca High School. What a small world. I remember when I failed Additional Maths in Form 6. Ying Ying stayed back to help me to understand some of the easier problems. And at the end, I managed to get B while she got a C for the final exam. Funny, huh? Anyway, I have always been thankful for her.

I feel that calmness is required at all phases of life. Here's my incident.I was about to give my engineering Vivas for the very first time and was without a doubt most nervous.Suddenly My Procter saw me lying in a corner very nervous and hiding from everyone. She was a very nice lady.As my number was to come At the end,she called me and took me to her cabin. There she started to calm me down and offerd a glass of water that really helped. Then we she got me in her confidence she slowly started to ask me questions about communication systems, the subject on which I had to give Viva. She then nearly got all the topics revised for me and her Calmness drew my nervousness away.Later when my turn came,I went in very confident and the whole affair went excellent for me and got out in my exam with flying colours.Sometimes we get help from someone that we least expect. That day same happened to me.This was one story that I am sharing with u.So have a good day

Dear ravirai,
Thanks for sharing a wonderful and inspirational experience.
Sometimes I do believe that God is watching over us. He will
send a guardian angel to us when we are in need, the least
expected person will be chosen ... isn't it wonderful!
All the best and do keep in touch!
