I got in a fight with a screwdriver

I was trying to put together a couple of rocking chairs that I recently purchased, but somehow these supposedly easy to assemble pieces are giving me a really hard time. I completely stripped this screw and now I can't get it out so I can replace it. Any advice? I know there was an as seen on tv product that is supposed to fix that but I can't remember what it is for the life of me. I might try and find it at walgreens or bed bath and beyond, but does anyone know what it is? Or how I can get it out without buying something new?

If you have a rubberband, you can put it in between the tip of the screwdriver and the head of the screw. It doesn't always work, but sometimes the rubberband fills in the area where the screwdriver can't grip.
Give it a try, if it works you may not have to buy the Mighty Putty.

Great advice! I've been trying to get it out with a pliers and its not working lol. I'll try that now, and if not, I suppose I'll buy the Mighty Putty before I go in to work.
