All We Ask is for Obama to be Treated Like Everyone Else

All other presidential candidates have had to prove their eligibity. When any of us want to work, one of the things we have to prove is our eligibility to legally work in the United States. There are only a few documents that are accepted as proof. Why does Barrack Obama feel that he is somehow above such requirements? Why is it that his supporters think he's above us all, and making him do what everyone else is required to do is somehow beneath him? We aren't asking anything of him that isn't demanded of everyone else.

Para, I have never had an employer as me to see my birth certificate. I never personally asked Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, George H. W. Bush, or Ronald Reagan to see theirs either. Did you? As I recall John McCain had to have congress approve his run for office because he wasn't born in the country. You and your "birthers" can grasp at all of the straws you want, but Barack isn't going anywhere. The supreme court has already said they won't touch it (and that was the conservatives, not the liberals), so good luck. But, please keep on talking about it, because it just shows how partisan the repbulican party has become.

But, have you been told you have to prove your eligibility to legally work in the United States? Have you been told you have to prove your qualifications to work in the job your applying for? I don't know if all the others were asked to prove their, but I know there was never a real Constituition question about McCain's eligibility, but he was forced to prove it anyway. Anyone who has ever read the US Constitution knows that there is nothing in it that says anything about being born in the US. You also make a funny point by saying it's a partisan issue. The people on the forefront on the issue are DEMOCRATS. The much maligned Philip Berg is a Democrat and was an avid Obama supporter, and said he would definitely vote for him, if he proves his eligibility. If you and I have to prove our eligibility to work in the US, and our qualifications for the job we're applying for, why is Obama so special? We are just asking Obama to be treated like everyone else. I know the Obamabots think he farts sunshine and pisses champaign, but that is nothing more than mindless idolatry. If he's eligible, why the million dollar cover up?

If there was a question about Palin's eligibility, would you have simply shrugged it off?

Ted, I have had employers ask to see my ID, and in order to get this ID I did have to produce my birth certificate. So I guess that is proof that Obama is an American citizen because he does have a ID. But, I have NEVER been asked to produce my birth certificate. Have you? "You also make a funny point by saying it's a partisan issue. The people on the forefront on the issue are DEMOCRATS. The much maligned Philip Berg is a Democrat and was an avid Obama supporter, and said he would definitely vote for him, if he proves his eligibility." The only people I have heard saying anything about this is REPUBLICANS. Yes, you may find a wacko democrat doing this, Rush and O'Reilly are No democrat, and nor are you Ted. "If you and I have to prove our eligibility to work in the US, and our qualifications for the job we're applying for, why is Obama so special?" Did you ask to see George W. Bush? Sarah Palin? George H. W. Bush? I guess I can ask you the same question: Why is Obama so special? "We are just asking Obama to be treated like everyone else. I know the Obamabots think he farts sunshine and pisses champaign, but that is nothing more than mindless idolatry." You mean like when you asked George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and Ronald Reagan for their birth certificates? Again it seams like you are asking more from Obama than you did any other president (even Bill Clinton, and that is saying a lot for republicans). "If he's eligible, why the million dollar cover up?" Why did it take Bush four years to produce his millitary records? Was that a cover up?

I read this morning that the Hawaii says that his birth certificate is legal, but then it also says that only someone of importance can bring a suite against Obama to prove that this is his true birth certificate and he was really born in Hawaii and he is really an American born citizen and never lost it. First since he is the president of the United States, there is no one equal to him who can bring a suit against him, unless of course there was a co-president, so for someone to prove he is illegal is hard to do. It seems that the law to prove that Obama is the president or not is tipped in his favor. Now when they call people who want to proof, birthers, they are mocking them. We are not all birthers, I would not have voted for someone based on his ethnic origins, whether he was black or whether he was Irish, German, Italian descent. And I would not consider his color or where he came from more important than his values.

Isnt it ironic that this election, those things were the ONLY things we were supposed to consider? Any discussion of his policies, positions or actions in public office were "Off limits".

Of course, if that's the only thing they give you to consider then if you don't like him, those are the only reasons you must not like him.

From what I can gather he is hiding his real birthplace because he is NOT eligible to be in the presidental position. He has hid his real birth certificate for years. The one on his website is just a "certificate of live birth" which anyone can get in any state. Otherwise he could not have served in any branch of government. I do think he is being used by others to take control of the USA. How far it can reach is another story. He does not have enough experience to run a country and is being lead by the rich owners and investors of the Federal Reserve Banks. They and the media are covering up for him. It is also your money(millions a day) that he is paying the lawyers to make sure the truth doesn't come out.It sure is going to be a rude awakining for the people when they open their eyes and see what is happening. But by then it will be too late.

OK, I am not an Obama supporter at all. I didn't vote for him this time, and I won't vote for him in four years. So, on some sadistic level, I hope he doesn't have one. However, I read a blog with pictures of his Hawaii Birth Certificate on it. Well, that had pretty much settled it for me. So, as I came on to to comment here today, I went back to where I had read the blog, and did a search for it, and I came up with another blog with a picture of a Kenyan one...so, I don't know what is true and what isn't. But it does seem that with all the controversy surrounding this, that he would simply have a press conference with the birth certificate in hand...

He is the only one who can answer the question conclusively. Everyone else is required to do what he refuses to do. One has to wonder what makes him so special.
