can u imagine the world without money?

no i can't imagine the world without money. but i think it would be cool to see happen. like people work for things like you work at walmart to get 200 dollars worth in food or you work or do chores for a bike or something else. that would be a weird world to live in. its like no one will have a stable job everyone would have to apply for some different place every one month or so.

Money can be used for good and for bad things also and it depends upon a person how he is going to use it. Some people are behind money always and for such people money will never bring them happiness it's just a temporary happiness they may achieve in life but if you want to lead a life then one has to limit his boundaries with the money otherwise money will kill a person with bad habits. Money can also be used for good purposes i.e for helping needy people and donating to schools,orphans,hospitals,etc. So it depends on a person how he is going to use it if a person is having more money then he can achieve greatness or full happiness in life by donating to needy people instead of using it himself..

I do not hope that money will disappear from the world. That will create more problems than the current system. I can't imagine bosses using salt or rice to pay our salary, as in ancient times, before the profusion of paper money or virtual money (credit card). I hope the current system will improve, so that we do not have to worry about money when we are facing recession or over spend when the economy is booming.

U don't want to trade ur cat or dog , OR ur child( literally) to buy a new ferrari ,do you? The moral code of the present day society demands the use of money!

Well,with money you can't do anything but wtihout money you can do nothing. So money is essential to our life i our world. When you feel hungry you need money to buy food and water to drive hungry, when you want to someplace you need money to check for transportation costs and some other stuff like this. Therefore, I can't imagine the world without money----

Agreed it makes the world go round. Dont hate money. It spices up life. That is why we all depend on it for survival

i'll be very happy if one day we will wake up and all money will be gone... it would maker this world a better place... people are too greedy...

Money is the root of all evil. Without Money, we will all be happy. There won't be pain, suffering, greed, etc. But if there is a world where we won't need money to make it, then i would have to say heaven where there is total happiness.

I disagree that money brings out the worst in people. If anything money allows people to be how they really are, it brings out their true colors. A person who is truly kind hearted and giving will remain that way if they come in to large sums of money. Money doesn't make you selfish. People are selfish without having money, having it just allows them to be selfish on a grander scale. Money isn't useless, nor is it pain. Money is a tool, a tool for good or for bad, depending on who has it.

Without money people would either trade or they would use gold to buy and sell things. Paper money really holds the value people tell you it does. It may not really be worth the number on it.

Money is required for survival.. It brings in lot of thing in your life but without money you cannot do many of the things.

Money actually is what used to be gold, but has been changed to paper because of the inevitable depletion of gold. This has lead to people at the top abusing the powers, resulting in corruption of every single country in the world. If we had no paper money or no gold, then we would have done what people thousands of years would have, bargain with the goods we produce or make. I think the world would be a lot fairer, but it would not be very convenient as we would have to go to a marketplace and see what we can sell to get. The most important ting about money is it's a system we created, which means in actual reality, money is a thought in our minds that this 'paper' actually has value. The real value is not in the money, but the things we use with the 'paper' to get, such as clothes, a home, a car, etc. Theoretically, it does have value but this is because we give it a value. When I mean by we, I mean the private banks, who's idea to create money out of thin air is strengthened. Money is the idea in our heads that makes our world economy prosper everyday, and now we have figured out it can collapse our society too.
