what is your planning for friendship day?

Gee, I never knew there was such a thing as friendship day. Cool! If I'd have a party for it, I'd ask each friend to bring a copy of their favorite recipe, and have each one bake their own cookies for a cookie exchange. Just in case you're not familiar with a cookie exchange...each person bakes enough cookies so that each friend gets a dozen. So, if you had 6 people at the party, you'd bake 6 dozen cookies, and each person coming would bake 6 dozen, and then they'd go home with a dozen of each other's cookies. I'd play a game like how well do you know me or something like it. You'd write down all the best qualities of each friend, or something fun (but not private) about different guests, and then they'd have to guess who that was from what you wrote about them.

I don't think I have ever heard of anyone making any special plans before on friendship day. Are you hoping to invite people over for a celebration or did you just want to go out?
