job ideas with kids

I posted a discussion earlier today, where I described the emotional disability my son has. In the post I mentioned how difficult it is to work because he cannot receive child care like most children.
A member commented that she worked jobs where she could take her kids with her such as paper delivery.
I can't think of much and I would love to hear suggestions from everyone.
I have to do something besides be at home, and I would like to pay some of the bills in our marriage for once.
Thanks!

I didn't see your other discussion but is it possible you could do some kind of work from home? Do you sew? Would you be able to offer care for another child? perhaps there is another mother who is in a similar situation to yours who needs specialized day care.
My cousins started selling things on ebay and made more money than they normally did with their yard sales. I just posted a discussion yesterday about a woman who baked some cakes because she was about to lose her house ove a $2500 debt.
The best thing in your situation is going to be something you can do from home because I am sure getting your son together and into the car with stuff to entertain him while you work is not that simple.

Thanks for your comments. As per your advice, I decided to start up my baking again. I used to bake home made cakes, european style. Now I just have to figure out how to market them locally. I just moved here a couple of months ago, and with the kid issue, I don't get out much. ;p
But you are right and it's worth a shot.

Start with friends and family members. I had a cousin who used to make candy and do a "sweets run" about once a month. She had a number of regular customers and she did quite well. Just a note, keep it simple until you decide to alunch an actual business or the health department will be knocking at your door.
