I have to get a new laptop but since all (I do is type and research via databases I decided I would rather have a netbook. Aside from the uber-expensive Sony Vaio what is a good one that's also reasonably priced?

There a lot of good netbooks. if you're looking something good but not so pricy, you should go for the Dell Mini. While the Asus EEPC is also good it isn't as powerful. I have the Hp Netbook and it is pretty fast not to mention very rugged.

I think the Acer is a good netbook that also doesn't cost too much. It does what it's supposed to, but the Internet is extremely slow on it. They're great because they're so small and easy to carry around. However, they're only great when it comes to typing reports or just using Microsoft Office period.
