Well this season Ronaldo and tevez have both left us.. the only one sticking with us of the so famous "trio" is Rooney.Do you think he can fill the void left by Ronaldo? He says wants to score 20 goals this season.Do you think he can really do that this year?how many goals do you think he'll score? Will he guide us to premier league glory once again?

Yeah,I do think Wayne Rooney will score 20 or more goals this season. Also, with the arrivals of Owen,Valencia,Obertan and Zoran Tosic, ManUtd will again play their fluid passing game. They will after some matches will get accustomed to the absence of CR7 and Tevez. Also, since the transfer season is not over, although Sir Alex Ferguson is claiming that there will be no more signing.I hope that they will make a marquee signing before the deadline of transfer market...

While Rooney is indeed one of the best strikers we have in the Premier League I don't think he can match the goal scoring record of Ronaldo. Rooney was always better than Tevez, and while Tevez wasn't a goal threat, Rooney could score some stupendous goals. With the addition of Owen and Valencia, who knows what role Rooney will play... people seem to forget that we still have Berbatov. Sure, he was unable to provide Man Utd with the goal record we hoped for... this year he may have a greater influence on the team, but even he can not fill the enormous gap in class created by Ronaldo's departure. I hope we can buy a striker in January, because I think we need a striker able to create, and score kind of like Ronaldo used to do for us.

We do need a very good attacking player ....i agree with you that point....people seem to forget berbatov because he hasn't done any thing rememberable till yet has he????....Lets hope though that this season he'll play really well.....and with one more good player we will win the league this year too....

Rooney has always been a talented player. There is no doubt about that. The last couple of years with Ronaldo taking the CF position more often Rooney was pushed to the wing. I hope he will get a more central position with Ronaldo and Tevez gone.I am sure with his ability he can score and score regularly. I want him to do well for MANCHESTER UNITED.

I think Rooney will do damage this year again! He is immense and with Owen as well and Berba backing them up I think we can look forward to some serious goal scoring this season! I do think Ronaldo will be a loss but hopefully not a massive dent in our team!

Its not possible to predict correctly before the starting of a new season. Cristiano Ronaldo's dream in playing for Real Madrid and Carlos Tevez's anger against Sir Alex Ferguson has seen Manchester United losing two crutial player. Last year after purchasing Dimitar Berbatov, Sir Alex was excited and commented "AWESOME FOURSOME". But in few very matches we have seen all of them playing in the 11. Anyway, we still have Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov. We have got Luis Antonio Valencia and Michael Owen in this transfer season. We can hope that we can reach near last year's performance without Cristiano Ronaldo. Rooney will get his former compatriot Michael Owen and also Berbatov to carry on the glory of Manchester United. If Manchester United get Frank Ribery then we can hope for better performance. If Rooney can avoid injury and bring out his best he can obviously score more than 20 goals in the upcoming season. Owen has also shown some flash of his previous form in the pre-season matches. If Manchester United has luck and the players can bring out their best nobody can stop Manchester United from clinching the Premier League crown for the fourth succesive year.

Cristiano Ronaldo's dream in playing for Real Madrid and Carlos Tevez's anger against Sir Alex has cost Manchester United losing to important player. Last year after purchasing Dimitar Berbatov Sir Alex was excited and commented AWESOME FOURSOME. But in few matches we have seen all of them playing in th 11s. We can hope that we can reach near the last year's achievements even without Ronaldo and Tevez. Rooney need to give his cent per cent and if he get his teammates in fine form Man Utd need not to worry much. As Man Utd is eyeing for fourth successive English Premier League crown.
