Well, I admire people who can speak more than one language. I really think that a certain part of the brain is activated when this occurs. As for me, I speak English and I can sometimes get my point across in Spanish. I recently tried to learn French and I can't even tell you what I know in that language (probably one or two words). "A jack of all trades, master of none" ... not bad, at least you have the ambition to learn things. This is very useful in life.

It is nice to hear that you knot lots of languages. I can read, write, and speak the languages, English, Hindi, and Malayalam, where Malayalam and Hindi are native languages of India. I also speak Tamil, but I don't know to read and write. I know to read and write the language Syriac, which I studied as a part of my eleventh and twelth grade.

I know Hindi, English, Tamil, Urdu. It is nice to know many languages, because you feel confident when you travel away from your hometown or country. I have seen many people struggling without knowing few common languages like English, Hindi...It is always better to learn many languages...so that you are not fooled by anyone.

Two - English and Spanish. It is funny some times when other people don't know you speak the language, and they talk in Spanish and I'm there. Most people I know only speak one language regularly though.

My main language is English. Although, I do know bits and pieces of Spanish. I took a year of Spanish in high school, and a semester in college. There's only so much of the language I remember. If I got stuck in a Spanish speaking country, I wouldn't be able to converse my way out of a paper bag. Although, since English is becoming the biggest second language in the world, it probably wouldn't be to hard to find someone who speaks English.

I can speak two languages fluently, which are English and French. I think that it comes in handy here where I live, in Canada, as these French and English are the two official languages of Canada. I am also learning to speak Italian and Sign Languages. However, I'm not fluent in either of these two languages. I'm only beginning.
