do you make calls often?
or just text to save money?
but are you a text addict?
I try to watch for whatever new promotionas my mobile service provider might offer to save on calls and SMS, yet I still spend a lot on phone cards. (I discontinued my plan coz I always go beyond my free credits).....
how much do you pay on your mobile phone bills???

I do not have a mobile phone plan, but a pre pay phone. I do not text, I do not listen to messages. I use my phone for business. With buying a doubler card last March, I spent around $140 for the card and some minutes. I am still using those minutes, as I also got some promo codes that added to them. For five months I have spent less than $150. I would say that is not to bad. Hubby does not use his as much, and spends maybe $20 every three months. Tracfone is what works for us.

I do call a lot using my cell phone, because I don't use any land line. My usage of 1 month is about $30 which include callings, texting, sending picture message and online usage.

Hi patof, I use prepaid card all the time. I prefer to text for it’s not convenient but save money as well. Every time when I make a call to my son, he will ask me to disconnect the phone. I then wait for him to call me back. This could save me some money for he could use the company land phone for free. Yeah, sometimes we have a lot to chat. Very often it would be more than half an hour
I’m really lucky that I had come across the chance to enjoy the lower rate of phone service charge for the whole year 6 months before. Yeah, the package was offered for a single day only. That was, every customer could enjoy 12 months of free network time if he was willing to top up the balance with US $10 on that particular day. Then he had to top up another 20 dollars within the first six months. Of course I definitely didn’t let go such wonderful opportunity then
Happy posting

lolz!!! I do that too... I call my son on a daily basis...(not to mention we live on the same house, i just developed the habit of checking on him a lot)... we both have mobile phones, but we only register one phone for the unlimited call and text service... so whichever phone has the unlimited call&tetx, should be the one that places the call...and when he gets home, he uses my phone to send messages to his friends...to maximize the unlimited service!

Hello Pat. I have a one-price fits all plan, so it doesn't matter how many calls/texts, etc. I do in a month. It's really a savings for me to have gone this route. I'm more a text idiot than addict, but I do fine as long as I don't worry about punctuation, etc lol.

Every month, I have to pay $65 for my cellphone bill.
It is kind of a lot for a single person like me, but I can use internrt in my cellphone anytime that I want.
It is very comvinient.

$65 is a lot, but if internet comes with it...that can be reasonable to sum it up

i don't make too much calls and i don't like to text at all . i just call and text message when necessary . For example when my kid is sick i would call and talk to my doctor . Every week i will call my Dad to get to know whether he is ok during the week. i don't chat by mobile for a long time. Of course because i get married !
i quite understand young lovers usually have a long long chat by phone and they just never feel bored.

I have a contract mobile phone which costs me £30 a month and in return i recieve £180 worth of credit to use on calls/texts and generally as i please. I used to use the whole £180 worth each month but i find since having my daughter i dont have time to call and text people all day long so i really only use around £30 a month worth of the £180 allowance.

i have 3 numbers.. 1 for my family and friends, 1 is for my work and the other one is fro my small business.. and all of them are prepaid.. i like prepaid coz i can control myself of how much will im going to spent for the month.. or sometimes i dont need to buy load for the whole month coz im still using my old balance from the previous month.. unlike postpaid, you required to pay a monthly plus any excess even if you not using it that much..
