Hi aeshamel, well I only make friends with people who do comment on the responses to their discussion. There was a comment on this discussion by someone who said they at least try to read some of the responses they receive. With a comment like that I think why bother posting a topic for discussion if you have no intention of commenting back, it's just plain rude. So I also make sure if I post a discussion it is interesting to me so that I won't get bored commenting to responses.

Hi Rob, it wasn't your comment at all, in fact it wasn't even this discussion I read it on, there were 2 like this and a woman on the first page of responses said she used to comment back then stopped and nowadays she tries to read a few of the responses just to show interest but generally doesn't bother, I went in to respond on about the 3rd page. I thought the posters name was different, I was ready to respond to that one and it through me out and this one was so similar. I'll try and find it but I ended up not responding it it.

Hello, aeshamel19! Well, since there is no exact amount per post in here because it depends on quality, you can't compare where you can earn more between posting a discussion and a response. Whether you prefer posting responses rather than starting discussions, it depends on you as long as you post with quality and remember that short posts will be paid by a little or nothing. Posting comments can also help you to earn. Ratings can also affect the participation earnings. When you reached your 100th post, you will get a star to your username and it represents your rating. When you point the cursor in it, 'mylot reputation of x/100' will appear on it and it is your rating. Users rate the post of others using the positive (+) and negative (-) buttons together with the report abuse (!) button and these three buttons can be found on the right side of any response, discussion, or comment but you cannot see it on your own post. For more information, read on the FAQ section about earnings and DRS (Discussion Rating System). Happy mylotting!

No one knows how the earnings are figures, and we shouldnt' rry to speculate as mylot doesn't want us to know and if they did, they would tell us. You need to bea acive and participate whether our start discussions, post responses or comments. They should all be quality too, as that is how we are paid. Few word posts or ust one line, won't geve you anything. Some poeple have a tendency to post comments to responses and all they ever say is thank you for your response. That is a no no, as that won't give anyone that does that, anything at all. Just keep in mind when ou are here, that as long as you post quality, you will get paid. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
