About two months ago I have my pedicure with a home service for simple reason much cheaper than in a parlor. It is my first time on her referred by my neighbor. A week after i feel pain but i ignore the pain, days pass by the pain is intolerable. My toenail is swollen and has a pus. I went to my doctor prescribes me a medicine but still very painful. What about you, have you experience like this a painful pedicure?

I've experienced this before, but thankfully I didn't have to go to the doctor. And this is one of the reason I don't get pedicure any more. I have deep ingrown nails (not sure if this correct English) and normally if they didn't cut it properly or left something inside, it become swollen and too painful that I couldn't even sleep at night because of it. I'm not sure if you can, but I normally can feel it when there's an ingrown nails inside and you need to get that out and it's up to you how you going to do it, because it will be painful without anaesthetic! I hope the medicine will work to you soon and that your toe nails will get better.
