Hi pangbo217, It is hard to get there especially for newbies. There is a lot of factor for that to be happen. But the most important thing is the topics. If you choose to discuss about something to do with your regional area, then only those who live there or have been there can participate. That's not help you to get a top discussion especially if your region is not a main population here. It is more easy if you start with something that everybody can participated. Things like daily routine or some advise or problems that everybody face it can be a good one. One more thing that you can't forget is friends. If you have a lot of friends here, your discussion will be more visible to them. It is more chances for them to response. You also have to give some response to others discussion to be able to attract them to respond your discussion. And that is the best way to make some friends here especially for newbies. Good luck. First, welcome to Mylot. It can be difficult sometimes. Try to pick things that everyone can relate to. Make the topic detailed and interesting. Include a lot of information, personal experiences of things that everyone has either experienced in their day to day life, things that relate to people from all over the world or at least all over the same country you live in. COntrovertial topics can sometimes quickly become a top discussion, but so can simple every day life events. It takes a little getting uesed to but you'll get the hang of it in no time, don't worry.
