Guilty or Not Guilty???

Last night i was watching one of those forensic files type shows. In this particular episode a husband had stabbed his wife 44 times with a large kitchen knife out in the backyard. He then rolled her over into the in ground swimming pool and held her head under water. The neighbor saw everything and called police. The husband claimed to not recall the incident. His whole defense was that he was sleepwalking and did not realize what he was doing.
