What do you think about Online auction, who's the one take advantages?

What do you think about online auction ? in my country, this is new. And most people think that they can buy cheap item here. Lot's of auction web uses a point or credit to bid. and I finally realized that they're make tons of money selling the point to bid. So, who is the one take the advantages? If the site admin, why do people always bought Point from them? I can't realized it until a moment ago. And maybe I'll only join the new launch online auction :P Your comment, please?

I think it is a best way to sell items to people around the world.

I like online auctions and it is a good phenomenon. People make a fortune by selling goods online. I think both the parties i.e the seller and the buyer are in profit besides the site admin making toms of fortune himself.

I used to think online auctions for fine until I was charged for using the site and trying to auction something off which ended really bad and well now I don't use the site anymore.
