Hi Philip,
This topic reminds me of my carelessness that cost me money!
Beginning of this month, I forgot to lock my car door and you
know what happened? My notebook was stolen!
It is an expensive lesson that I learned. No matter how rush
you are, make sure you lock and check that it is confirmed LOCKED!
All the best and do share your views at my discussion when you are online!

Not really, because I generaly don't lock my door anyways. I live in a small town, surrounded by smaller towns, surrounded by even smaller towns. It is a pretty safe place. Everyone knows everyone and my neighbors all keep an eye on each other's places. Strange goins on usualy get noticed pretty quickly. I have never in the 24 years living in that town locked my doors, house or car doors, nad have never had a problem. I am also diryt poor and don't have much worth stealing anyways. If someone is going to be robbing me, than they are PRETTY BAD OFF to be worse off than me.
I am however carefull to make sure stoves and other apliences are off. If I am way from home and think I may have forgotten somehting like that, I would probably call one of my neighbors to run over and check for me.

Once my partner forgot to put off the AC in the office. He was the last person to leave. As he wanted to do some unfinished work, he sat after office hours and he had already sent the peon home. Next day when we came to office we realised the AC was not put off. Well some carelessness that is.

Yes. Carelessness sometimes leads to unexpectable circumstances. That was good as nothing happened. Thanks for commenting.

Dear philip_shiny,
That's an interesting topic to remind me to make sure
I lock all the doors and off all the electrical switches
before I sleep afterwards too!
I forgot to lock my house door once when I rushed to
send my son to school. Thank goodness I remembered to lock
the gate. My mum wake up an 1/2 hour later and realised it
was not locked. She quickly locked it and informed me once
I am back at home! Thanks God everything is okay.
The best thing is for me to plan my time so that I do not rush...
and ALWAYS remember to lock everything..even the car..
All the best and do keep in touch, take care!
