The Person Behind The Writings

Has your recent seclusion into your new writing project left you lacking in the social interaction department? Have your caring family and friends stopped trying to lure you back into the social scene? Worse still, have your co-workers started up an office pool as to when those little net wielding men in lab coats, come and take you away?
As writers we often go through periods of ambiversion, extraversion and introversion. I tend to be somewhat introverted when I write; otherwise I am an ambivert who, while not seeking out social interactions, respond well to them.
If I'm into a writing project, family and friends leave me alone, because I tend to give out mono-syllable answers about my writing, and stop eating good nutritious meals. In other words, "I ain't telling ya, and those are my chips!"
What type do you seem to be, and in being so, does it help or hurt your writing?

Well, just responded to this and internet kicked me off just as I hit post - lost it all.
I'm an introvert - all the time, writing or not, I really really don't like distractions when I'm writing though, lose my train of thought. But you'd best get your hands off my bag of chips :)
