Tell me your weight loss sucess story

Obesity is a major problem today. There are so many different diets out there that all claim to help you lose weight fast, some of which can actually be detrimental to your health. A balanced diet combined with exercise is what I have always used to help me lose weight. What weight loss strategies have you used? What has worked for you and what hasn't?

I was never obesed, but i did have 15 lb that were not supposed to be there... i simply changed my diet, i started eating the same fods but from a healthies veriety. i don't eat regular ice cream anymore, i eat coconut ice cream now. i don't eat lays potato chips, i buy veggie chips that have to trans fat... I walk a lot too. I didn't even notice how i lost weight, i was doing it for overall health and ended up loosing these 15 extra lb... I feel great, lost weight and i never tortured myself with terrible diets that kept me starving.

yes, and it's not that hard... people tend to think that if food is healthy it doesn't taste good, but i'd kill for that coconut ice cream lol. it's easy, you don't really have to give anything up and it's great for health. I actually know someone who started doing the same thing, he was obese and lost a lot of weight already. he actually said to me that there is a wrong way to eat junk food and there is a right way to eat junk food. since he started eating it the right way he started loosing weight. he even makes his own Italian Ice from fruit juices now.

Since I started eating right I've craved junk food less and less. I actually don't even like potato chips anymore! I can't stand soda anymore except on a rare occasion.

I´m slowly losing weight eating a little less, drinking a lot less, and using very little mayo. I used whole milk for my no sugar coffees (10 a day at least) and now I use partially uncreamed (don´t know the word in English ) I lead a less sedentary life since Lola, a naughty German Shepherd puppy has come to my life. I have lost about 7 pounds in 4 months. I want to lose the 20 I gained when I quit smoking

Until a year ago I was not obese,, but on January 1st I weighed myself and was shocked, for Christmas someone paid for me to go to weight watchers, and since going there I have lost 34 pounds and I hope to loose another 20, but I have found its all about portion control. If you watn a chocolate bar only eat a half, or get a singles bar. Also to drink lots of water and to stay away from high fat foods

I have a really very successful story to tell you.6 months ago,I weighed 80kg.I'm a really very fat boy and my shape is bad-looking.with the advise of mang girls,I determined to lose weight. I heard that cucumber has the function of losing weight.so I eat 3 cucumbers every day before every meal. According to the theory of Chinese medicine,cucumber can make your stomach and intestine work better.so you can eliminate the rubbish and poison easily. also if you eat cucumbers before meals,you will eat less than before.don't eat too much meat.I only eat meat once a week.I like to eat vegetable and rice.you should remember not to eat spicy food which is bad for your health. in this way,you don't need to force yourself do a lot of exercise every day.just eat healthy food,you can lost weight. In my opinion,chinese food is more healthy that american food. now I weigh 68kg. I feel energetic every day.I feel more confident than before. I hope that my story can help you.

I think the key is to change your eating habits. I don't believe diets work, at least not permanently. I lost 20 pounds in less than four months, by simply eliminating soda (even diet soda) and cutting out all fast food. I also added a lot of fresh fruit and dairy products. My weight now matches my drivers license weight and all my clothes fit me again (except for the ones that are too big!). Also drink LOTS of water. Often times people think they are hungry, when actual they are just thirsty. Try to get active a few times per week as well. Get the heart pumping!
