Today I realized that in the last 2 years I have upgraded my living room television twice. The first time was from a 42' Flat screen to a 48'- The I found a 52' I fell for and upgraded to that. Now I have just ran across this 70' Flat screen and I really just can't resist. How about you my fellow mylotters....can your tv ever really be too big? Are you like me and love a large HD picture??

It's too big if there's someone stood in your doorway trying to sell you popcorn

i do liek a good picture. For years, i only had a small twenty something inch. Maybe smaller. im not too sure. Either way, I recently upgraded up to a 32". I almost got a 40" but I changed my mine (and im glad becaue my room is small and the t.v. i have now is pretty big in comparison) I say, if you have the space, sure! go for the upgrade! but 9" isnt too much bigger. If you've got the money though, sure! Me, im about to be 19 with a low income job. lol. have to stick with what i can afford. lol.

We have had a 61" TV for ten years. I looooovvvvveeeee it! I was actually looking at a 70" a few years ago. This is my philosophy: I can read the trailers at the bottom of the news channels without my glasses. OR Why do I have to go to the show when I have a BIG BIG BIG screened TV at home.

exactly my point sysdex, Why have to wear the reading glasses to watch the news...I rather just have everything huge...that way there is no strain to see ;)

I saw an LED TV this week and it was head and shoulders above the LCD's and Plasma's. You have to love technology. I remember (oh my this may show how old I am) when it was a big deal to have color TV instead of black and white.

I think ours is about 50 inches. For years I would say ha! that TV is so big you need a gigantic room to be able to see the picture properly, then my husband was offered the one we have now for free as it was being thrown away at work. So now I keep quiet about how big TV's are. I have to admit, it is a bit like being at the cinema sometimes. It isn't HD though as it is fairly old (it is a monitor screen and runs off a digital TV box that is separate).
