The internet has become the epicenter for discusssions and earning. mylot for example, is an English-language social network like any others which offer a platform for people of all walks to interact and grow. However, due to the language (read English), many people from across the globe find it impossible to share or discuss views which could be enlighting. Sadly, we all follow English as the international language through which to communicate.
My question is, shouldn't their be another medium through which practically everyone could interact and grow without having to face language difficulties? Take the braille system introduced for the blind for example, its universal and reach out to all the blind people across the globe. So why not have a symbolic system which could be a standard platform for universal communication?

I don't see any need for a symbolic system right now. With the internet, learning a language can practically be very easy. Besides, with the translation tools readily available and downloadable online, people can easily understand one another regardless of language. Language is no longer a barrier to success. Besides, it may even take a longer time and much inconvenience establishing and learning a symbolic system than learning one's language. =)
