Kanye is alway saying something outrageous but this was something I couldnt even believe he would say. I love his craziness and confidence but there are people still mourning his death. He should at least let it down before he goes on about how michaels time is up and he is the king of pop in the 21st century. What do you tihnk about his comments?

Kanye West is a talented man he i s sometimes humble but sometimes he lets his ego go to his head. So what does that make him A HUMAN BEING, who is moody like the rest of us who is sometimes in a good mood sometimes he is not. Sometimes he doesn't think about what he says and ends up offending somebody sensitive, just like we all do. Why do we give celebrities a special category why do we expect them to act a certain way at all times. Normal people f*** up at times, we open our mouths too soon, we make mistakes people.Leave this guy alone!!!

I like Kanye West's music, but I really don't like him very much as a person. He has let his fame go to his head, he says such arrogant and insensitive things like this and thinks that he can get away with it. Just like when he went onto that awards show and said in front of a group that was also nominated "i deserve to win more than you". This statement about him being the new King of Pop is just another example of his ridiculousness and arrogance, Kanye needs a big wake up call and realize that the world does not revolve around him, and he is NOWHERE near as talented as Michael Jackson.

Personally, I love Kanye West, but I wouldn't go as far as to say he's the new King of Pop. I wouldn't really say he's the king of any thing, no man is, but in this case, especially King of Pop Music. He's got great music and a great attitude about the music industry as a whole, but I wish he wouldn't ruin it by being so cocky. He's done stuff like this before... Typically, when he releases a new album, and he receives great success with it, he mellows out by boasting about his success, calling himself, "this," "that," and "the third." I think the remix to the song "Ego" had something to do with it. Personally, I feel that must've been a confession about himself, for the fact that he does tend to have a "big-head" sometimes. All & all, Kanye's a great guy. I'm not trying to bad-mouth him or anything, but he is really good at making Pop Music. Saying he's the new King of Pop though, is just a little over the edge.
