Ragging by Tech girls ..fined...should ragging be banned ?

A government run infotech institute has slapped a fine on 19 girl students for harassing juniors and freshers.This is a big thing - ragging does hurt sometimes -as it becomes physical sometimes. What do you think should ragging be banned in schools and colleges and also in working places ?

Whats that ragging about. It is harassing and hurting students or hazing? If it will hurt students it should be banned and not allowed. Something that intimidate or harass someone must be banned.
