When we were kids, listening stories about kings&queens, prince&princesses, demons, gods, supernaturals was our favorite favorite pastime.
But nowadays I notice that the kids are not at all interested in listing to these stories, instead they prefer spending long hours on watching cartoons on TV or playing games on the computer or play-station..
What do you think..?

Hi,jimmy87,
myfriend, your disxcussion arose a lot of my memory, I'm 22years old now,but even when I was in my childhood, I always heard some stories from my Mum,now I look back,it's so sweet.
My Mum always told me some strange but interesting things,or some lovely genius beated the evil monster,I learned so much from them.
But now the kids can't enjoy these stories any more ,what a pity.

Hi Jimmy.Iam unmarried, but I do think that hearing to stories,is a thing of the past now.In this digital world, the kids today are addicted to television, video games, computers and even comic books. It is slowly eroding away such things like hearing stories.Another trouble is that, the kids today, are over burdened with studies. As such they lack time, and if they have time, they use it to play, sleep or watch television.I thus, don't think that the kids today are more keen on listening to stories from the elders.Keep Mylotting.

Actually kids still love a good story about kings and queens, but since it is easier to watch than to listen, they are hooked to the cartoons or Harry Potter shows.
The popularity of fantasy fictions show that adults also love a good story. The difference is that many adults read or watch movie. Listening to a story is not really that popular.
