Best/quickest way to understand Japanese song

I am a huge jpop fan. However, I can't understand the lyrics, apart from some obvious words. This is really hindering my passion for jpop!
Any suggestion on how to solve this?

Use first a dictionary that has english-japanese traslation :D You must first be familiarize with some Japanese words one by one. Thats the easy way and thats my first step. I have now an idea in Japanese words. also know first the nouns, verbs in japanese :D

Hello there friend, I also love Japanese music too and I mostly look for english translations on their lyrics to know the meaning of it. But even if i don't understand that much, i feel like i understand it all :D do you also get that feeling when listening to them? :)
