I had a strange experience in this. Once I went to a falls with my family. I suddenly slipped inside the water nearby the rocks and its somewhat deep and my cellphone got wet which was inside my pant pocket. Then I found it was gone and it was pretty much costly and I was worried. I just dried it out for sometime and changed the battery. I switched it on and everything came to life. I was glad. It was a nokia model and hence I perfer nokia after that. Do share yours .. Cheers.

I got my phones wet 2 times. One time i let my brother play with it and he left it in his pants pocket and my mom threw it in the washer. That phone didnt work anymore =[[ One time, during summer, i was really hot and wanted to go to the pool. Since im super lazy i thought i could just jump in with my clothes on, but i forgot that my phone was in my pocket. It worked for a while, but i stopped trying to fix it and got a new one. Now, i have a samsung behold and i have to be super-careful with it because i didnt get any warrenty so once its gone, it's gone.

fortunately factors and the appropriate handling, make the phone still works after the infected water. if the phone directly on the battery and take dried sure the phone is still alive. but if the battery does not live in loose, the phone can not work.

i know the nokia is waterproof.
but i never dropped it in the water or make it wet. only dropped it down to the floor from the high place. when i switch it on, everything goes well again as usual. nokia is really a good brand of cellphone.

I have this habit of texting while inside the comfort room, I accidentally poured water on it. I was shocked of what i have done and hurried myself using the bathroom. After a few moments, I blow-dried it using one of my sister's hair dryer. Then poof! I was happy that it is just fine. It's a nokia model too. And until now, i am still using it.

I wash washing my clothes, and then someone texted me.. i got my phone but my hands were still soapy.. so the phone slipped and then it went to the soapy water.. I got it out, dried it with a hair dryer.. and then restarted it a couple of times before It worked normally again. My phone is samsung, and I actually didn't pay anything for it, cause it's free with my postpaid line.

yes.. I also had the very same experience when i lost my mobile on the beach. Luckily it came back to me in the next wave. the screen is little affected.. Otherwiwse fine!. But I heard my friend who put his sony erison phone accidently into a bucket of water.. It was gone.. even a repair was found difficult.. So I use always use Nokia no matter wat!
