Hi there soon to be mom krupik!
Good news is, you still are able to conceive BUT it gets too risky. It really depends if you don't have any illnesses and diseases. By the way, is your height appropriate to your weight? It is important so that you can monitor yourself. How bout going to your Obstetrician? i think they could help you with this blessing from God. Stay happy and think positive.

Yes, I know. However, I don't have any "bad" antibodies that can destroy pregnancy. I know like everything about this illness. Sometimes I think that this knowledge is not good. And... If everything will be lost - I can adopt. There are so many poor children lost in the world.

My mum had my little sister when she was 40. My little sister is fine, and was healthy. If you are healthy otherwise there is absolutly nothing wrong with later pregnancy. I know from my mum that the doctors give you plenty of tests on the baby. In older pregnancies there is increased chances of some illnesses or disabilitys but they test for those. I would say go for it Im sure you will be a fantastic mother, no matter what your age!

Yep but very reawrding experience! I dont have any kids myself yet but i really want them some day! It would all be worth it! Just to go from holding them in your arms when they are all tiny and so perfect, to seeing them all grown up with children of their own. That must be such an amazing thing! I cant wait Good luck, hope all goes well for you!

I had my 8th child when i was 35 years old. and i believe that you can have children at that age safely.
My mom was 38 when she had her last one.
and my oldest daughter is planning on one more and she will be 36 next month. So if it happens she will be 37 or 38 when she gives birth, depending when she starts trying.

Hello Krupik, the very best thing you can do is go to an OBGYNE, the doctor needs to run simple tests so that you can stop thinking about why. Age have nothing to do with it, some female give birth at 35+ to 45+ and yet it is just ok.
It depends on your health and as well as your husband's health. There are two things to consider here only, if you are ready to have kids, then just go see a doctor so that he or she can tell you what is best to do.
I'm also in the same boat like you, not the age , but the desire to have kids. But i haven't seen a doctor yet, maybe soon if I am ready, i will take my hubby along with me. Cheer up, there is still hope for us. Happy Mylotting.

If you really concern about having a baby, I suggest you to go to see a doctor more than asking for advice in myLot. It is not only the issue of your age, but also your body's condition. We all know that earlier is better, so if you decided to do so. Act quickly is your best choice. You can ask your doctor before making this serious decision. Wish you the best of luck.
Happy myLotting=]

you are still far from menopausal stage..you can surely and certainly have a baby, menopausal stage usually takes place at the age of 50, but i have heard of a woman who gave birth to a baby at the age of 60+ (63 i guess)..you should not be depressed about that, and of course, don't forget to pray to god to gave you a child..

Hi kuprik, I was 36 when i had mine. My advice would be start taking folic acid immediately to reduce problems and if it doesn't happen quickly don't hang around, get it checked out straight away in case there is some problem which you can get sorted quickly. When it didn't happen for me straight away I wasn't wasting time and found out I had a tumour (benign) in my fallopian tube which was stopping it. I had it removed and immediately got pregant so don't hang around without checking it out if it takes a while to get pregnant. Best of luck to you.

Alot of doctors recommend the cut off age to be 35. However i know MANY women who have gotten pregnant when they were 40-45 and they were all very healthy babies!!!! Good Luck to you!!! My best wishes.
