I am really keen on traveling and think that a language is part of each country's identity. My mother in tongue language is English and that is great to know for travel to many different countries. I learned French for five years at school. Visiting French Polynesia was a delight and knowledge of the language served me well. I am currently learning Spanish and thinking about visiting South America in the future excites me. One currency perhaps the US dollar and one language whatever it was would make traveling much simpler. However I like the individual identity each country has. I think if one language would be chosen for every person in the world there would be a difference of opinion: English, German or Spanish might be popular choices for the one language. If it was Arabic, Japanese or Russian many would have difficulty learning it.
