I started to earn some extra money for myself when I was 12 I think. I went to strawberry plantation and picked berries for money. It wasn't a big amount of money, but I still managed to buy myself a football. Then came atlas. Later, when I was a little bit older I bought myself a digital camera with money I earned in summer. Then later I bought myself bass guitar and amplifier. Now I still haven't got a permanent job, because I am a student, but I work in summer. I can buy myself new clothes or electronics or whatever else I want and can afford. I think earning some extra money as a child prepares children for future life, makes people hard-working.
I wasn't forced to go to job, it was purely my own decision and now I see that it was a right choice to work every summer.
What about you? Do have you ever worked as a child or did you start earning real money when you became adult?

Wow, this is pretty cool... I hope most kids in America will do what you did. I helped my mom when I was 12 also, she had Jewelry shop and she paid pretty good tho. Then when I came to America at age 15, then I went to do bag boy... then became a cashier at the same place. now, I work hard just like I did

Good to hear that working when being child helped you start you career. It is especially good when you can join to things together: earning money and helping your relatives. Thank you for response, happy working!:)

Do you manage to earn a lot online? I think that real job can earn you much more than online one, of course if you have proper education that will ensure you a good workplace with nice salary.
