So close to payout and still so far

I can not believe how close I am to payout with just over 24 hours left in the month! Even if I could spend the rest of the entire day doing nothing but responding to discussions I probably would not make it to the almost $2 I still need. $10 isn't a lot of money but every little bit helps, right?
My last payout took 2 months because of the changes to the tasks. I did try to submit a task earlier this month but the accept button would not work and I did not realize the page had reloaded and not changed until after I typed the four paragraphs!
I didn't expect to get this close to payout without the help of the tasks and now that I am less than $2 it is almost painful, lol!

hon I know what you mean, I have always made payout and I will this month but since I am so busy with freelancing I know that I won't make it next month but I don't care as the freelance work pays more. I did two days of task the beginning of this month which gave me my payout.
with tasks don't forget to accept it read it and accept it again before you write anything that saves your task so you don't lose it, then once you have typed the four paragraphs save them in your word program so you don't lose them and copy and paste to your task and then submit.

I can not tell you how many times I tried to accept that last task! I thought I was doing something wrong but after several days of repeated attempts and then learning from another member they were having the same issue I knew it wasn't me.

HAHAHA. You make so much money off of Helium, this $10 shouldn't mean anything. LOL I know how painful it is. I findally made payout on mylot and I swear, I have no idea how. I think you pushed me over the top. lOL. If I could do the same for you I would. You'll think of something. Type away my friend, type away.

What are you talking about? $10 is 3 gallons of gas, lol! Actually, I can do a lot on $10. One of my Honey and my favorite dinner spots inly costs us $12. Reaching payout gets me most of the way there!

Mommaj also manages to reach payout? That's fantastic, I thought you ask God to extend your life expectancy for another eight hundred years, so that you can reach the next payout in mylot!
I'm quite surprised that Canellita can't reach payout this month. I see her posting to so many discussion threads!

Seriously. $12 for two people's dinner? Are you going to McD's? I can't imagine only $12. Although, I used to love Cici's pizza. I think their price went up though. It's been so long since we've been near one. LOL. $10 for gas? What are you going to put it in? Just kidding.

Yeah Canellita, I agree that the $2 task really could help us to reach our payout easily. But I haven’t accepted any new tasks recently, for I'm quite busy and don’t have more extra time to cope with them. I like the 4 paragraphs article writing task Without the award of the task I could reach my payout in every other month only. Anyway I still feel happy with this wee income, as it’s the impetus to push us keep on posting here.
I feel sorry to learn that you came across the problem of the accept button earlier. Try to accept more tasks this month my dear. Hopefully this could help you to reach your payout with more than 20 dollars by the end of Aug. Yeah, this could compensate the insufficient amount of payout of last month
Happy posting and good luck !

It’s nice to know that you still have another site for you to make good income online I have read some posts here before, saying that helium is a reliable and proven site that will pay for its members on time.
I don’t believe other site totally, for most of the sites I had participated had turned to be scam in consequence I trust mylot site only. That’s why I always stick to it. I like to have typing posts here whenever I have spare time.
Have a nice day!

Unfortunately I will not have the time for tasks this time but it is of no consequence as I have good income from my helium articles.

Gather is a site similar to helium that is reliable but I don't have the time to put into it for it to pay off.
Helium is a site for writers so it is a little different from myLot. The earning potential is good if you are a good writer and can be prolific.

haha Canellita, last month was Helium, now mylot, what's next!
Anyway ten bucks not a big deal, you can use some of Helium's titles, write articles, then subject to AC for non-exclusive rights, get the upfront payment, before submitting to Helium for another upfront payment. I guess with three or four articles, you got enough to compensate for the ten bucks.

Hi Canellita, I mean title, not article. Once the article published in Helium, you cannot submit to AC for non-exclusive to earn upfront. You can only submit to AC for Display Only content.
If you use a title in Helium, you can write the article, submit to AC first, for non-exclusive rights, make about three or four dollars upfront, then submit to Helium. In this case, you make upfront from both sites.
This works because you are living in the US. For us as international writers, we have no choice!

Wait, what? Use helium titles or articles already published to submit to AC for non-exclusive rights?
I went crazy writing to empty titles this month. I am sure I will be very happy when the upfronts and bonuses are posted. I am thinking I may try to do one more article before I go to bed.

I understand the feeling. Because you are so excited to finally reach your minimum payout, it seems as though you are too itchy or agitated to get there. but good thing for you since you are that close because i've been here over a month and the payout is still looking like a long ways off. but enjoy all the fruits of your labor! ;)

It took me two months the first time and then I only reached payout because I had some time off so I was able to devote some time to participating in more discussions.

Great for you! I am targeting to reach the minimum payout too within 2 months. Although this might seem a difficult undertaking with my current pace of earning, I am not giving up and is still hoping I would make the time frame I have set for myself!

Hey there, yeah I know how you feel. I diidnt make my last payout but Im hoping to make it this month. Im almost half there and there is plenty days left to go in the month. I just hope I dont screw up. Im going to try to do some tasks though to make some easy extra cash because you truly honestly dont make much posting discussions and replying. Even if I write huge long responses wiht tons of detail I find myself earign the same everyday. Its frustrating!!! All the best to you though and happy mylotting.

I agree posting is a slow earner. If you are any good at writing try the writing tasks, they earn a lot faster. You will reach payout in one or two days if you are able to take on a couple of writing tasks.

I still have tasks pending from before the change to the task program. I don't want to waste my time and then wait around. I accepted a task a while ago, switcched to another window, typed the paragraphs and switched back only to discover that when the page reloaded it was still stuck on the page where you accept. The task stayed this way for days.

I haven't done task 1 and still make payout at least every other month - and I'm still making payout every other month - I am here a lot, but I did miss almost a week because of the old computer/new router problem earlier this month. I'd guess I'd be closer to 18 buck if I hadn't

Wow! You must spend a lot of time on here daily. I just can't do that because I usually have to work and deal with other things. I am sort of on vacation now but I still have so many other things I should be doing.

I have been there before and I was about less then one dollar to making the payout now thats a lot worse then you lol. But Its really annoying having to wait a whole month to reach the payout when you are so close. But you will get more money the next payout which is always good.

I assume you are talking about last month's pay out now. Did you reach it? In order to do so you would have had to make 100 or so posts which is very difficult to do. If you did not reach it then you would have had great head start on this months payout. I usually try to make posts throughout the month so that I do not get short near the end, however I still only make payout every 2 to 3 months if I am just making posts and do no tasks.

I missed it by 60 cents or something! I will get to at least $15 this time but after this month it may take me up to three months to reach the minimum again because I just will not have the time until probably January.

That does have to hurt. Being without a computer for 10 days set me back on many things, so thank God I had money left from payout last month to go toward helping me make it this month!

I too got stuck up in submitting one task once,...
Without task, making a payout every month means , lots and lots of time.. I believe i can reach my first payout here in mylot this month... .There are still few cents left, but i feel that much i can do today...
You think, if not in july ,then next month you can earn almopst double, and can treat you a lot better..

I suppose it is my consolation that if I do not make it I will have a nice pay out next month. By then I will have less time because of teaching.

wow..if you haven't been paid by mylot yet i am a LONG way from home.. i'm only at 1.40 right now with one task pending.. i don't know.. im sorta too lazy to do the tasks but i feel like it's those tasks that sorta add up to help you make payout.. I try to really give description and be specific in my discussions in mylot too because I hear that helps with getting more money but like I just feel like i won't see that ten dollars. ever.. and that i would quite long before i hit it.. i don't know.. i mean i like to mylot and see what people are talking about and post questions etc.. but seriously only when i have time and i feel like i never have time for surfing the web anymore...

The problem with trying to reach payout in a short time with just tasks is that you can't rely on a task to get approved within a day. $2 in a day is possible, I once even got $3 in a single day without any referrals. It does take a lot of work and you have to post a lot of relevant pictures aswell, but it's possible.
I haven't reached payout this month either, so I'll just carry the earnings over to next month and get a bigger payout then . No worries.

I hope that once you get everything up and running the picture-posting will help you increase your earnings once again . I haven't reached payout this month either, but I took on some tasks to make sure I will get my payout next month (there is lots for me to buy for my new appartment so I am a bit more eager to get payout, lol!).

Well this is a month old, so please forgive me for not responding sooner. I hope you have made it to payout for this month, and for last month. I know it is very hard to get to payout when other things come up, or distract you (ahem woops GRAW)... I try to stride myself and make myself come on here, this isn't our only source of income anymore, but I don't have a job yet... so... I should be on here more!
Anyhoo!
Happy 'lotting!

I hope you did even it out! Yes, with a lot more going on it's hard to stay here for more than an hour let alone three. Though I don't have anything else to do except study for a driver's ed test (I never got my license or permit but am trying to now)... then there's a lot of time. Of course, I distract myself in other ways too!

It takes a lot of time to be able to do enough quality discussion activity to make it to payout here. When you have other things going on you can't really put in 3 hours a day on myLot, lol. I missed it last time by less than 50 cents! This month I am just short of $15 so I am hoping to at least even it out by the time I quit for the day.

I see how you felt at the moment here. Yeah, $2 might take me a couple days to achieve. Now, you just have less than 24 hours. It might be a little bit impossible to done it, even though you gonna spend that 24 hours there. Unless you got a massive amount of responses from all the users in mylot. Tell me, if that miracle really happen.

'A massive amount of responses' will not help to reach payout unless the user then goes and comments on them. Responses posted by other users do not boost our own earnings.

Slow and steady wins the race so for us to reach that minimum payout we just need to be patient so little by little is is easy to achieve though it takes 2 or 3 months for the minimum payout to reach wait.

My first payout was acheived after only the second month. The first month I signed up too late. I used to use the tasks to help me get to payout and so I never missed one until a few months ago. Now I just post when I post because I have less time.
